JUMP START WEEKS

A one- to two-week session at the AP clinic designed to intensively assess learning and behavioral needs, determine the best methods to intervene, and begin intensively applying those methods and train parents and therapists to carry out the treatment. Assement and treatment is provided by a highly skilled team of Supervisory or Consultant level staff. This program is ideal for children who are:

1. At the beginning stages of an Applied Behavior Analysis program. Our team can insure that the plans used are clinically appropriate.
2. Currently receive ABA services. This blast of superior intervention and the insight of our team will energize active programs.
3. Having a limited response to intervention.

This team will share their expertise to revise and jumpstart the child’s program.The week includes a comprehensive behavior and skill assessment as well as the development of a program plan involving both behavioral and skill development for the child.
