2-4 year olds

This program Is designed for our youngest children who are demonstrating readiness for a group experience, peer awareness and group learning. This group takes place at both the AP clinic and in the community.  ABA strategies are used to further develop learning how to learn, age-typical play and social interaction. Through the use of fun and engaging activities and effective teaching strategies, students will develop greater behavioral and social awareness.  Teaching focuses on developing group learning and preschool readiness skills, such as listening and responding, group participation, observational learning and sustained attention.

5-6 year olds

This program Is designed for children who demonstrate a readiness for peer interaction and group experiences. ABA strategies are used to further develop learning how to learn, age-typical play and social interaction.   Through the use of fun and engaging activities and effective teaching strategies, students will develop greater behavioral and social awareness.  Teaching focuses on developing group learning and preschool readiness skills, such as listening and responding, group participation, observational learning and sustained attention.

6-8 year olds

This program further develops age-typical-play, social skills, and continuing preparedness of those skills needed for independence in the school setting.   Relationship development is emphasized by  teaching skills needed for successful peer interactions, including social reciprocity,perspective taking and shared engagement.Skills needed for successful group learning are practiced through whole and small group activities, including problem solving, multi-tasking, self-monitoring, and group projects.
